To advocate public information and facilitate student education about renewable energy and the core concepts of sustainability; to encourage local harmonization through music, art, and community interaction.

Clean Energy Events was founded to promote education about renewable energy and sustainable practices.  We believe that sustainability should be woven into all forms of education, business, industry, and government, rendering its core concepts common household knowledge.

We have two charitable programs that directly benefit our mission within the Cape Fear community.

1.     The Clean Energy Events CFCC Sustainability Technologies Scholarship Program will fund future scholarships for the 2-year CFCC Associate in Applied Science Degree. “The Sustainability Technologies program is a rigorous two-year Associate's Degree program focusing on energy use, building science, and renewable energy technologies.  Additional topics of study include environmental science, waste reduction, water use and renewable energy modeling. The priority of the program is on real-world and hands-on training using the latest technologies. A number of professional credentials will be woven into the curriculum to better prepare students for employment, including LEED Green Associate, NABCEP PV Entry Level, BPI Building Analyst and OSHA Safety Card.”    -John Wojciechowski, AIA, LEED AP, Lead Instructor – Sustainability Technologies.

2.     The Clean Energy Events Community Education Program directly funds expenses pertaining to renewable energy demonstrations at local schools and family oriented community events.  This strategy introduces renewable energy technologies and the CFCC Sustainability Technologies Program to a large portion of the community, as they are making college and career choices.
